Wtf is a RDL? 🤔
🏋️♂️RDL short for the Romanian Deadlift is a traditional barbell lift used to develop the strength of the posterior chain muscles, including the erector spinae, gluteus maximus, hamstrings and adductors.
✅When done correctly, the RDL is an effective exercise that helps strengthen both the core and the lower body with one move.
Do I need to do RDLs? 👀
🏃Whether you're a runner or a powerlifter, anyone can benefit from incorporating RDLS into a regular workout routine. RDLs help strengthen and build muscle along the posterior chain, or the back of the body, which includes the hamstrings and glutes.

💥 What is ‘Time Under Tension’?
⏱Time-Under-tension is also referred to as ‘getting the negatives’ which is a technique in which the exerciser spends more time than usual in the eccentric phase of the movement.
💪‘Eccentric’ refers to the lowering portion of a pump when your muscle is slowly elongating. Slowing down the eccentric portion of the lift causes more muscle damage and hence encourages more growth.
👊💥Try using 3 to 4 second negatives while alternating between one side holding an isometric position and the other side exaggerating the eccentric portion of the lift.
